vectorlabs，公司成立时，那时市面上还没有单克隆抗体、-亲和素产品以及凝集素产品。1976, Vectorlabs*纯化出凝集素产品，并迅速成为世界上该类产品的主要供应商。次年，Vetorlabs推出了-亲和素系统。由于和亲和素分子间*的相互作用力，因此可以在化的分子和结合有标记分子的亲和素间形成近似共价键的连接。

Vectorlabs向科研人员推出*款-亲和素试剂。试剂包括化的蛋白和亲和素结合物，开启了检测方法的新纪元。Vectorlabs的化抗小鼠免疫球蛋白和标记亲和素是检测和鉴定单克隆抗体使用较广泛的试剂。几年后，其他一些公司在认识到-亲和素系统重要性后，也相继推出各自的产品。20年前，Vetorlabs开发了亲和素/链亲和素和化的酶复合物，并申请，命名为"ABC“。这一成就也奠定了 VECTASTAIN®ABC 家族产品的基础。

相较于其他检测系统组织染色微弱或扩散染色以及需要高浓度一抗等问题，VECTASTAIN®ABC 系统组织染色较深、清晰、无背景染色，而且仅需低浓度的一抗。经过多年的优化改进，继而开发出VECTASTAIN®Elite ABC家族产品 - 该家族产品被广泛认可为较灵敏、较可靠、较经济的基于过氧化物酶的检测系统。后来，Vectorlabs又推出 ImmPRESS™ 试剂。这些试剂不是基于-亲和素技术，而依赖于将过氧化物酶/碱性磷酸酶多聚物"micropolymers" 直接结合到二抗试剂。
